This is my story. I got a referral from my mechanic from a client. So yeah, a friend of a friend type deal. I was pretty skeptical from the reviews I read beforehand. When Steve was about to do my test drive and troubleshooting for the vibration issues, I told him that I was looking for a miracle. He just told me the hard truth and gave me a reality check in the most professional way possible. Had to respect it. Zero sugar coating there. After the 3-hour diagnostics and troubleshooting, they told me that my water pump was leaking and the pulley was wobbly and causing all the vibrations. In my mind, I had still a few miles left to drive and schedule the maintenance next week. The miracle that I received was the bearing was shot and the vibrations got really bad in the parking lot. My time was suspicious and accusational. It was the miracle that I had to wrap my head around because if I had made it out of the parking lot, it would have needed a tow truck and additional expenses. I did apologize for my behavior and attitude. The water pump was replaced and the leaks on my transmission were repaired. Looking back, it seems like the water pump was going bad ever last April when I got t

Dropped my car off for a diagnostic check. The owner asked what was wrong, so I explained the codes my car gave. They said theyโ€™ll check it outโ€ฆ An hour and a half later they called me just to read me back the codes I already told him, and suggests that I take the car to the dealership because they donโ€™t work on engines just transmissions. Literally called me back and told me the exact codes I told him, and said we donโ€™t have the technology to pin point exactly which issue it can be. They donโ€™t have the new technology to fix my year of vehicle. Whole time it says โ€œTransmission and Total Auto Careโ€ on the building.

On 8/3/2020 I drove my 2012 Chevy express van to Atlas transmission to have them check out the issue of why my transmission would stall sometimes when changing into forth gear on the expressway. I also had to address the previous issue with them installing a flywheel on 12/23/2019 in which I told the owner that it was recommended to purchase a flywheel from the dealer because it is a common problem in that vehicle and the aftermarket flywheel do not work well and the issue will return and the dealer part is more durable with a warranty. He assure me that he would purchase a dealer flywheel and install it and service my transmission. He charged 1,039.00 on 12/23/2019. On 6/19/ 2020 I stopped over to atlas transmission talk to the owner told him that the ticking noise was back he said no problem bring it in another time he had a lot of vehicles in the shop at the time and he couldn't get to it. After making a couple of trips I told the owner to call me when he had available time to change the flywheel because the ticking noise was not as loud as it was in the beginning. Some time had passed and on 8/3/2020 I arrived with the new issue. I was told that the transmission needed to be reb
